How many topics are there in total?
Kantoo Words has more than 25 topics on launch date. From this date on, new topics will be added.
What is inside the Word List item?
In the Word List section, you will find all the words related to the downloaded topic. In total, there are 30-34 words, with images, writing and pronunciation.
What is inside the Practice item?
In the Practice section, you will find 3 types of exercises to practice the words via three separate skills - Listening, Reading and Writing.
What is inside the Challenge item?
In the Challenge section you will find a mixture of exercises, to be completed against a time limit.
Can I see the results of the exercises?
After finishing the exercises in the Practice section, you can see the percentage of correct answers in the 3 types of exercises: Listening, Reading and Writing.
In the Challenge section, can I see my results?
Yes, in the Challenge section you can see your results as a score at the top of the screen. The faster the exercises are completed, the higher the score.
What is inside the menu?
In the menu you can delete the results of your performance or close the application.
Is everything in the application in English?
Yes. Kantoo Words uses a direct method of teaching vocabulary. As everything is in English, you are encouraged to think the words in English, instead of translating them in your head. This represents a natural way to learn the language. Kantoo Words creates a strong association between words and images in your head, introducing an additional context over a simple translation of words.
